NEW: Adding Internal Notes on Contact Pages
You can now add private notes to contact detail pages that only your colleagues can view.

Effective internal communication is crucial for seamless teamwork, especially when managing projects or contact interactions. One powerful tool for enhancing collaboration is the use of internal notes within your contacts' detail pages. These notes are also viewable in their tickets. These are private comments visible only to your colleagues, and they can be essential for keeping everyone on the same page.

How to Add Internal Notes

To add internal notes, navigate to the 'Notepad' tab in the contact’s Ticket or an individual Contact page.

  1. Open the Notepad Tab: Locate and click on the 'Notepad' tab within your platform. This is where you'll be able to input and view internal comments.

  2. Enter Your Note: Type your comment or update in the text field. Be concise and relevant to ensure your message is clear and useful for your colleagues.

  3. Save Your Note: Once you've written your comment, make sure to save it. This will ensure your note is preserved and accessible for your team.

Tracking Changes and Updates

One of the benefits of using internal notes is that they are dynamic and can be updated as needed. In your notepad, you'll see:

🙋🏿 Team Member Identification: The name of the colleague who made the change. This helps in understanding who contributed the latest update or comment.

⏱️ Timestamp: The system will display when the change was made. This provides a clear timeline of updates, which is crucial for tracking the progression of tasks or conversations.
