We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news about our latest update designed to make managing your API tokens easier and more secure than ever before. 🎉
We’ve given the UI for API Tokens a major overhaul. This means a more streamlined experience for you and enhanced security for your account. From now on, when you open a TextIt account, you'll need to explicitly create an API token. It’s all part of our commitment to keeping your data safe and sound.
Navigating these changes is a breeze. To view and manage your API tokens, open your Workspace Settings: Click on the gear icon at the bottom left of your browser window ➡️ Go to 'Account': Here, you’ll find the API token section ➡️ Manage Your Tokens. You can now:
🔨 Create New Tokens: Add up to 3 new tokens whenever you need them.
🗑️ Delete Old Tokens: Remove tokens that are no longer in use.
📈 Track Token Usage: See when each token was last used.
Regularly updating your tokens is a security best practice. By giving you a more intuitive way to create, delete, and track tokens all in one place, we’re helping you maintain robust security with minimal hassle. The new interface also makes it super easy to switch out tokens in external apps before removing old ones.
